The mixed chamber choir Ventilky was founded in 1998 at the ZUŠ Jirkov (Basic Art School in Jirkov), embracing some twenty zealous singers aged over 18 years. The choir's repertory consists of works of all stylistic periods with emphasis on choral works of the 20th century. The choir masters are PhDr. Luboš Hána, Ph.D. and Mgr. Marie Hánová.

During its existence the choir successfully participated in a number of concerts and shows.
Ventilky's another achievement is organization of the choir competition festival in the field of popular music – “Jirkovský Písňovar” (Jirkov Song-Mill) – the second year saw the appearance of 17 choirs amounting to over three hundred choir members.
